For the last 3 years Mat Thomson has been operating his award winning distillery squirrelled away behind Hallertau Brewery. His New Zealand whisky has been picking up plaudits and medals galore. Thomson’s location has led to the inevitable collaborations with Hallertau. Join Mat Thomson & Hallertau’s Steve Plowman at The Golden Dawn for an exploration of their whisky & beer. Beer cocktails, Whisky barrel aged beer, beer barrel aged whisky all the Thomson expressions with work-in-progress samples and the latest seasonal offerings from Hallertau plus a special preview of Hallertau Gin.
