Here at Beervana we believe in Good Beer and continually striving for Better Beer. This is why we are on the hunt for someone to keep us in check. So this year we are seeking a:
Good Beer Quality Control Officer
As the Good Beer Quality Control Officer you would be the official Beervana beer taster. You will ensure that the beer is pouring at its best, the quality of the festival experience is up to scratch and, most importantly, that everyone knows about it.
To be the Beervana Good Beer Quality Control Officer you must have proven experience telling your IPAs from APAs, pilsners from pale ales, and be able to identify the nuances and flavour profiles of hundreds of beers. That’s right….hundreds of beers. You will join us at industry events in the days leading up to Beervana, have early access to the event on Thursday, and an “All Access Pass” to Beervana where your GBQCO identification will allow official assessment of the beers that are on offer at Beervana. You will check these in and rate them on the Beervana app and share your experience through our social channels, ensuring that they all measure up to the extremely high Beervana standard. The Good Beer Quality Control Officer will be in charge of all our social media channels from Wednesday the 10th to Sunday the 14th August, ensuring that the discerning public know – what’s good.
As the Good Beer Quality Control Officer you will get:
Invite to the “invite only” Welcome Drinks to meet and greet with the brewers.
Invite to the Oregon vs NZ – Battle of the Brewers event
Early access to Beervana on the “Trade Day” to start assessing the quality of beer on offer
All access to Beervana 12 – 13 August
Tasting rights to all beers on offer at Beervana
